Invacare is a proud supplier of mobility and medical equipment such as manual and powered wheelchairs, mobility scooters, beds and mattresses, patient lifters, ramps and more. Our equipment is used in facilities and around the home to make people's Life's Experiences Possible.
We are now seeking an experienced cleaner to join our Rentals team, helping to service our very busy, Auckland DHB contract. You’ll join a small, close-knit group who work collaboratively with our internal teams to ensure our equipment is cleaned, serviced and ready to be redistributed to our customers.
This is a varied role which will keep you busy from the moment you start work until the end. Cleaning our equipment includes operating automated washers and equipment, manual cleaning and moving a range of different items that vary in size, shape and weight to different locations (bending, lifting and shifting). You will also:
- Wrap and package equipment to be returned to the goods area and shelving
- Ensure we have an adequate supply of cleaning products and PPE
- Identify issues with products that need to be serviced
- Tag items with serial numbers
- Pick and put away stock items using a high reach and man-up machine
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Are physically fit and can lift heavy items
- Don’t mind getting stuck in to get the work done
- Have an energetic and positive attitude with good communication skills
- Enjoy working in a team as well as alone
- Are reliable and pride yourself on doing a great job, every time!
- Have a forklift licence or are interested in getting one
